In any design of SPM, Hydraulic Press or Automation, first step is to select tentatively hydraulic cylinder parameters. Cylinder Bore is selected based on system parameter, namely Tonnage required. Peak operating pressure is based on type of hydraulic pump selected. For example, if we select Vane Pump, peak working pressure will be limited to 175 Bar. Also speed parameter will be decided by LPM capacity of Pump.
